For more than 80 years, we have continued to help young people transition into young adulthood by providing the tools and products to help them look their best and feel confident in their own skin. We know that building confidence is a journey and navigating the seas of high school can be especially difficult. Students who graduate from high school and continue their education face greater job prospects, higher incomes, better health, and are less likely to live in poverty.¹ On top of this, experts report that confidence is the best predictor of achievement in both mathematics and English, is related to both cognitive and self-belief measures, and is among the best-known predictors of success.²
The purpose of the Old Spice School of Swagger is to understand the unique needs and identities of young people, bring communities together to support those needs, and work with partners to sustain resources in those communities for long term impact. We are proud to join forces with Walmart, America’s Promise Alliance, and partners dedicated to the belief that all children are capable of learning and thriving, and that every individual, institution and sector shares the responsibility to help young people succeed.
